Every time I accomplish something like Monday's assent, the afterglow is wonderful. It's like living "the dream". Out of all the climbs over the years, this one will be one of the most memorable, not only for summiting the tower but also the entire stay. Seeing Josh lose his fear and pushing forward instead of bailing out & watching Nancy battle through some tough moves for her was as pleasurable as my climbing. You are a very good instructor. You know just when to push a bit harder along with all the praise. Even Nancy was impressed with your skills, and she wasn't too thrilled to climb with anyone other than RL & Karen (in Lake Placid).

The stay at the lodge was icing on the cake. We had a wonderful time meeting & dining with all the folks. Julie is a great hostess. She made us very comfortable from the moment we walked through the door. Nancy & I are contemplating a return trip and would very much like to stay with you again. We really liked the Black Hills and might even consider them as a permanent destination if we ever decide to move out of Pa.
